There are five geographical regions. Each region receives one Gold and one Silver Award.

Global Awards10 years after a first European trophy obtained with La Banque Postale, W4 and Techspace Aero are particularly proud to be rewarded with a new distinction this year for the implementation of a Computer Aided Quality Management application implemented by the Belgian integrator NSI (www.nsi-sa.be) after a very high standard competition this year.

The goal of this application is to better manage all quality incidents in order to make their administration and management more efficient, whether these are quality incidents linked to the Techspace Aero suppliers, or those discovered either during product manufacturing before the delivery of the end product to the customer.

Given the specific needs of the aircraft industry with regard to product quality requirements, the first processes to be described were those concerning quality applications linked to the manufacture and production of the sub-assemblies of aircraft and rocket engines. Up until then quality was managed by a set of heterogeneous and ageing applications, with redundant data and breaks in the processing. It relied on an intensive use of paper documents. The installation of a BPM Suite allowed the processing of all quality incidents to be grouped within a single application, offering greater flexibility in the processing sequences, and greater efficiency within the workshops and for the quality officers at all levels. The result is that the delivery of a final assembly to the client no longer requires any manual processing to search for closed quality incidents. The conformance certificate is generated automatically, after simple validation by the person responsible for its insurance. Previously this work could take several hours.

Now the different participants are aware of belonging to a global processing chain in the company. It increases collaboration between the various departments the culture of process implementation.
